Vitamins, by definition, are substances found naturally in plants and animals. Vitamin A is also a known anti-oxidant that fights free radicals from the body. Sources of vitamin are egg yolk, carrots, fish and liver.
Vitamin D, on the other hand, plays an important role in the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the body.This is why it is associated with the bones grow and become stronger. Helps to prevent bone problems like osteoporosis and osteomalacia. Besides sunlight, are known sources of vitamin fish and eggs.
Vitamin E or tocopherol is commonly known as an antioxidant that helps in a good flow of blood in the body. Like other vitamins, also helps repair tissues. It also plays an important role in blood clotting. Vitamin E found in spinach,broccoli, cabbage and tomatoes.
Another well-known vitamin is vitamin B1, which is part of the complex of B vitamins Also known as thiamin, vitamin is an essential enzyme system and participates in the cellular response. It also promotes the body's metabolism and helps the growth and development of the body.
